Now Maine State Police will display pink in their own way this month.

A press conference is planned for later today in Augusta where Chief of the Maine State Police, Colonel Robert Williams, and the President of the Maine State Trooper Association, Sergeant Michael Edes, will officially unveil the plates which will be placed on all Maine, marked, State Police cruisers.

The breast cancer awareness plates are funded privately and part of their message is early detection saves lives.
