The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for parts of Downeast Maine, but the state is expected to miss the brunt of this latest nor'easter.

The storm will primarily impact Downeast, with a predicted 6 inches of snow for Washington County. The Bangor area can expect about 4 inches of snowfall.

While the storm won't be as intense as the nor'easter that impacted the state last week, the expected snowfall is enough for the National Weather Service in Caribou to issue Winter Weather Advisory for the Downeast area.

This is the fourth nor'easter to hit the region this month.

While Maine will most of the snowfall, points south will get significantly more with New York City expected to receive between 12 inches and 18 inches of snow.
