Maine Beach Named One Of The Best In The Country By Trip Advisor

Once again a Maine beach has made the annual list by Trip Advisor.

It's no surprise to Mainers that our beaches are some of the best, not only in the country, but the world. Once again Ogunquit Beach, in Ogunquit was named one of the Top 25 Beaches in the United States. The beach was named among the 25 best in 2014 as well.

The list was based of Trip Advisor reviews in which Ogunquit Beach has over a thousand 'Excellent' reviews. It ranked #14 on the list this year. In 2014 it was #15, so we're making progress!

Travelers sight beach and parking fees, as well as beach congestion as concerns in the few negative reviews.

The only other New England beach to make the cut was in Massachusetts. Race Point Beach came in at #23.
