Lupe Fiasco Thrown Off Stage at Inaugural Concert [VIDEO]

Remember Lupe Fiasco on the Bangor Waterfront a few years back? I enjoyed his show, but at a recent inaugural event...people didn't really dig the gig.

Lupe cause quite the stir over the weekend at the StartUp RockOn concert celebrating President Obama's reelection. Lupe was the headliner for the show. He has always been quite vocal about politics in his tunes. He insulted president Obama when he preformed a 30 minute anti-war song and stated he didn't vote for him.

His mic was ulplugged and the stage lights blacked out the stage, stopping his set.

Hypervocal, a co-founder of the show released this statement in response to the rappers removal from the gig:

'This was not about his opinions. Instead, after a bizarrely repetitive, jarring performance that left the crowd vocally dissatisfied, organizers decided to move on to the next act.'
