Lorde and English electronic duo Disclosure collaborated on a new song 'Magnets' and its video is already catching people's attention with its violent images and Lorde's portrayed affair with a married man.

In an Entertainment Weekly article, Disclosure spoke about their attraction to the phrase "the point of no return" but didn't quite know how to incorporate it into their song. Lorde came in with the idea "of using it in the sense of if you're attracted to someone you shouldn't be for moral reasons, and then if you tell them, then you've gone past the point of no return."

The 'Magnets' video draws a few parallels to Haruki Murakami's '1Q84' magnum opus novel. The world in 'Magnets' has two moons, just as the world of '1Q84' did, and Lorde plays a character similar to the main character in '1Q84,' Aomame, both being assassins that specialize in killing terrible husbands.

'Caracal,' Disclosure's new album that includes 'Magnets,' is out now.
