A Glenburn man and a Kenduskeag man face heroin trafficking charges after police discovered the drug during a traffic stop.

Police stopped a red Dodge Neon operated by Lawrence Dipietro of Glenburn on June 5. A police dog indicated the presence of drugs in the vehicle. A search of the vehicle uncovered paraphernalia as well as heroin. A search after the arrest found Dipietro concealing 3 grams of heroin in his underwear.

A search warrant was obtained for a residence Dipietro had just left. Acting on that warrant, police found several packages of heroin, suboxone and ammunition.

Resident Kennith Greene of Kenduskeag was placed under arrest for Unlawful Trafficking Schedule W Drug (Heroin Class B), Unlawful Possession of Schedule W Drug (w/priors Heroin Class C) and Unlawful Possession of Schedule W Drug (Suboxone Class D).

Both men were taken to the Penobscot County Jail.
