Local Art Show Goes Small in Bangor

The Fifth Annual All Smart art show has been taking place at the Sohns Gallery in The Rock & Art Shop since November 9th. Local artists were given three small wood panels to create pieces of art resulting in a diverse collection for viewers of the gallery.

This year's collection includes 52 local artists that have either done the show in the past or brand new to the gallery.  Local artists each create three pieces in their own style which can involve 3D concepts, metal, acorns and many forms more traditional media.  Pieces are kept small to encourage affordable gift purchasing for the holiday season.

The show runs only until December 24th and prices for the pieces range from $40 to $900.  You can peruse the installation any day between 10AM and 6PM at The Rock & Art Shop.

This Friday the gallery will host a reception for the installation at 6:30 PM.
