Maybe the reason Justin Bieber was having so much trouble breathing at that London concert is because he found out his supposed friend Lil Twist had yet another accident while behind the wheel of one of the Biebs' cars -- this time his tricked out, chromed Fisker Karma.

We can't make this stuff up.

Originally, Chris Brown was thought to be in the car, but his reps say he wasn't even in town. (Then again, he'd already had quite the big day himself.)

TMZ reports that Twist was driving the car on Tuesday, March 5 at around 6 p.m. when he crashed into cement poles protecting a wall at a San Fernando Valley liquor store. The car's grill was badly damaged.

Witnesses heard Twist or a passenger say, "Do you know whose car this is? It's Justin Bieber's car" -- the vehicular equivalent of that old ego-boosting, chest-puffing "Do you know who I am?" move.

A BMW quickly turned up and retrieved Twist, telling him to grab the errant pieces of Karma that fell off the car after it kissed the wall and put them in the Beamer. The three men did as they were told and piled into the BMW, abandoning the Fisker Karma.

But Twist committed a big no-no. He left the scene of the accident, and it's a crime to bounce after causing injury or property damage without exchanging info with the victim -- in this case, the liquor store owner -- but that didn't happen.

This isn't the first time that Twist has been reckless with wheels belonging to Justin Bieber. He recently caused several Gs in damage to the Biebs' Ferrari while pulling out of the Four Seasons hotel, and it was he who was behind the wheel of that same vehicle when a paparazzo was mowed down and killed trying to get pics of the Biebs.

Justin must have terrific insurance if he keeps entrusting a lousy driver like Twist with his rides. The weed can't be that good.
