Lexus Creates A Real Hoverboard [VIDEO]

Yes, it was the year 2015 in Back to the Future 2, when Marty rode his hoverboard, yet we still don't have one.

The forward thinking folks at Lexus have presented the latest example from its "Amazing in Motion" series of video spectacles: the Lexus Hoverboard. At the end of the video, it would appear that board looks like it's hovering and smoking, but no one ever gets on the thing

Evidently, this project has been in development over the last 18 months, but whether or not the board actually works is unknown.

I can already see myself hovering down the Acme Road in Brewer.
