The man who died in a house fire in Lebanon has been tentatively identified as the homeowner. Confirmation is necessary through the State Medical Examiner's office.

The State Fire Marshal's office believes the body recovered in Wednesday's house fire is 57-year-old Kevin Struble. The body was found in the living room near Struble's wheelchair. The Press Herald reports that the man had been dealing with health issues that had led to the amputation of both his legs above the knee.

Fire investigators say the fire started in the basement of the house at 185 Bakers Grant Road but, because of the extensive damage, the exact cause cannot be determined. This was the 19th fire death in Maine for 2015.
