Leaked Images of Dragon Age: Inquisition Reveal Snowy Highlands Environment, Red Lyrium

These leaked pictures of Dragon Age: Inquisition show off the Emprise Du Lion area, some red lyrium crystals and, of course, a massive dragon waiting for would-be adventurers.

VG247 has revealed seven amazing leaked screenshots of Dragon Age: Inquisition. These images depict what many believe to be the Emprise Du Lion area, which Thedas cartologists would recognize as the Dales' Highlands. Based on the pictures, an ancient elven coliseum is located here along with an empty camp belonging to the Red Templars.

Red Templars use the rare deposits of red lyrium in the area to help enforce order upon the mages of the area through the crystal's indigestible ability to resist and dispel magic. Mages use the normal form of the crystal to enter the Fade. The red form of the crystal is much more potent and can give life to inanimate objects, bestow the power of levitation to whoever carries it and eventually brings about madness in people who use it.
