Hip surgery couldn't keep Lady Gaga from topping Forbes' annual list of highest-earning celebs under the age of 30.

Gaga raked in $80 million in income from June 2012 through June 2013, which is astounding, considering that she had to cancel a leg of her Born This Way Ball Tour while she had hip surgery, rendering her inactive from February through much of June.

She resurfaced at a gay pride rally last month and again this month to reveal 'ARTPOP' details. But for the most part, we've seen neither hide nor hair from Ma Monster much in 2013.

According to Forbes, most of Gaga's earnings did come from the global tour, which grossed $168 million through January. If the trek had played out as planned without the cancellation due to surgery, she would have brought in $200 million. That's an accounting detail that had to sting for Gaga. But she's still sittin' pretty at No. 1 on this list.

While Gaga may be No. 2 on Twitter to Justin Bieber, he's No. 2 to her on this same list. He earned $58 million, while Taylor Swift landed at No. 3 with $55 million in receipts. DJ Calvin Harris cruised into the No. 4 slot with $46 million since he performed 150 shows in a year. Lastly, Rihanna, Harris' 'We Found Love' collaborator, was at no. 5 with $43 mil. Notice it's all pop stars in the Top 5 and each has their hands in other pots, with endorsements, perfumes, cosmetics deals, clothing lines, techy investments and more.

The list is estimated after Forbes' bean counters talked to managers, agents, producers and other industry insiders to compile the figures.
