Kid and Sabrina recently paid a visit to Playland Adventures in Brewer, to try out a few inflatable obstacles with some rather hysterical results.

The Insane Inflatable 5K is coming to Orono, on September 19th and it's going to be a day filled with fun obstacle courses, games, food, beverages and more!

The course is 3 miles long and includes 11+ extreme inflatable obstacles throughout the unique terrain of the University of Maine. “Pure Misery,” is a 100-foot obstacle testing strength, agility, flexibility, and endurance, “Jump Around,” is the largest inflatable of its kind with more than 70 feet of bounce pad, and “Vertigo,” is the biggest of one of them all, where participants climb to the top of the steepest slide in the industry (at 6 stories tall) and slide down to finish the race and claim their medals.

It all takes place at the University of Maine on Saturday, September 19, 2015 and will kick off at 9:00 a.m. with the first wave, and additional waves will run until 1:00 p.m. A portion of the proceeds from the race to the Black Bear Fund which benefits the hundreds of scholar athletes who compete as University of Maine Black Bears.

Registration fees, which include an event t-shirt and medal upon completion, range from $49 for advance registration to $75 for day of event registration. Children are welcome to participate, with a suggested minimum age of 8 years old and a minimum height requirement of 42”.
