Katy Perry Teases New Music on Instagram

Sound the alarm and hear her "roar": Katy Perry is working on new music again and the 32-year-old singer teased snippets of audio on social media.

Perry took to Instagram to show her working in studio while having a little fun. "I drew on my tooth with a Sharpie for fun and now it won't come off," she captions on the video while grinning to the camera.

The audio in the background suggested Perry was working on a new upbeat pop track. The clip lasts only four seconds but Perry's voice is clearly heard.

A second snippet posted on her Instagram suggested she was also working on a more downtempo tune as well. With the caption "OMG Instruments!" presumably a second track is heard in the background.

So when can fans expect Perry's new album? In September, her manager had hinted that a new album would be released before the end of 2016, although that does seem unlikely as 2017 dwindles near.
