Never one to let a possibly-insulting comment lie, Kanye West has responded to his ex Amber Rose's tweet from Wednesday (January 27), in which she claimed the rapper enjoyed...well, you've probably seen it, but just in case you haven't:

Kanye and Amber Rose have had a storied history of sour exchanges and subtweets since their breakup in 2010. And though there's no love lost between the exes (well —  love/hate, thin line, etc.), many agreed Kanye went a bridge too far this week when he insulted his ex and her son Sebastian during his Twitter feud with Rose's ex-husband Wiz Khalifa. "You let a stripper trap you," Kanye wrote in a since-deleted tweet, continuing, “I know you mad every time you look at your child that this girl got you for 18 years.”

Rose's justifiably salty response incited a collective "daaaaaamn!" from Twitter. It also caused some classy folks to flood West's wife Kim Kardashian's Instagram comments with the "pointing  finger" and "smiling pile of poo" emoji, and inspired the currently-trending #KanyeAnalPlaylist hashtag. Kanye, meanwhile, chose not to dignify the tweet with a response. Just kidding!!

So there you have it: According to Kanye, Amber wholly fabricated her claim because "exes can be mad." There you are, just minding your own business, and then your ex-girlfriend makes-crazy at you for no reason! Perhaps Rose did invent this bedroom secret knowing it would humiliate her ex — or maybe, to paraphrase Shakespeare, "me thinks the Kanye doth protest too much."

As of this morning, Kanye remains the butt of the joke.

Speaking of butts, let's rewatch Amber Rose and Amy Schumer skewer our culture's booty obsession in "Milk Milk Lemonade," because it's never been more relevant.
