We all know Kanye West is a fan of Daft Punk -- he did sample the duo for his 2007 track 'Stronger' after all. Now it seems Yeezy and Daft Punk are working together more collaboratively on some spanking new material for his upcoming album.

If Daft Punk's description of the scene in Kanye's studio is any indication, fans are certainly in for an absolutely different sound from West on this LP. Thomas Bangalter, who said they laid down some drums for the rapper, told Rolling Stone of their recording sesh, "It was very raw: he was rapping – kind of screaming primally, actually." Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo added, "Kanye doesn’t give a f---. He’s a good friend."

While we don't know much of anything about Kanye's album, director Michel Gondry, who shot West's 'Heard 'Em Say' video, has heard two new songs saying,  "One of them, I told him it sounded solid and powerful – I envisioned a cube when I heard it." Unfortunately for Gondry, Yeezy's already tapped U.K. director Chris Cunningham to shoot the video for that particular song.

Welp, even if Kanye is a screaming maniac on his new tracks at least we know we'll have Daft Punk awesomeness to back it up!
