Justin Timberlake and Anna Kendrick will voice characters for the upcoming DreamWorks animated musical comedy Trolls.

According to Deadline, Justin will play the part of lead character, Branch, who is described as “a hilariously hardcore survivalist who hides his surprising true colors.”

Justin will star opposite Anna Kendrick, who already signed on to play the role of Princess Poppy. DreamWorks says the plot of the movie will “for the first time tell the story behind the beloved Trolls and their gravity defying and colorful manes.” For reference, here is a photo of the horrible trolls.

Justin and Anna’s characters will go “far beyond the only world they have ever known, [and] their quest will test their strength and reveal their true colors — with no shortage of musical mash-ups along the way."

Mike Mitchell and Walt Dohrn, both of Shrek Forever After, have signed on to direct and co-direct the movie, respectively, while Gina Shay will produce it.

This movie marks the very first to be based on the popular ‘60s toys. A Danish woodcutter named Thomas Dam created the world's first troll doll for his daughter when he couldn’t afford to buy her a Christmas gift. Her friends saw the doll and wanted one for themselves. Dam obliged, unleashing these hideous, nightmare dolls unto the world in vast quantities, the craze of which extended well into the '60s. After dying down a few years later, troll figurines eventually reemerged with renewed popularity in the '90s — though some of us will never understand the appeal.

You can read more about the history of the troll doll over on this Danish website.

Trolls is set for a November 4, 2016 release date.
