Hollywood High-Fives Jodie Foster on Twitter for Her Golden Globes Speech

This year, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association honored Jodie Foster with their Cecille B. DeMille award for her lifetime of achievement on the big and small screens. And during her acceptance speech, she set the interwebz ablaze when she took the opportunity to speak publicly – in a slightly dodgy way – about her oft-suspected sexual orientation.

Nobody seemed surprised by her confession, but – judging by the traffic on Twitter – many in Hollywood were very supportive.

Even in the midst of those who said her speech was strange, or that she was drunk or that she was demanding privacy while publicly receiving an award (by the way, if you’re wondering, Bret Easton Ellis is still a self-loathing douchenozzle), the majority of tweeting celebs essentially tweeted “hellz yes.”
