Jimmie’s In Brewer Set To Open For The Season On March 1st

I follow the Facebook page for Jimmie's Ice Cream and Grill in Brewer, and I'd noticed quite an uptick in activity on their page. They've been putting up photos of various menu items, and gently teasing the fact that they'll be opening for the season soon.

Well, we got the official word this morning from the manager of Jimmie's that they'll be ope for the season on March 1st! They'll be back at it serving up the goods in less than month! The spot has long been an iconic ice cream stop for fmailies coming to and from the Airline Road.

My camp is out in Eddington, and we used to stop there all the time when we were kids. Way back then it was called Dud's. I always used to get either a coffee shake, or chocolate/vanilla twist in a sugar cone. I'm sure I could still stop in for either of those. And in a few short weeks, I just might!
