James Franco to Star in Another Stephen King Adaptation

James and Stephen have another project in the works.

James Franco has signed on to a starring role in another Stephen King book to movie. Franco may also direct the film, but hasn't decided yet. Deadline says the project will be a movie adaptation of King's short story Drunken Fireworks.

Franco will play the roll of a mechanic competing against a retired mob boss in the town’s annual 4th of July fireworks competition. Of course the movie will be set in Maine, but probably won't be filmed in-state.

The flick is still very early in development. We'll let you know when a debut date is available.
