Traffic is being slowed southbound on I-95 in Plymouth as crews work to clear an accident from last night.

Public Safety spokesman Steve McCausland says the lane reduction is due to crews working to remove a tractor trailer that went off the road last night. The rig ended up in the median and was left there overnight.

Workers will be offloading the cargo of bagged potatoes before the truck can be removed. Officials expect that the process will take several hours.

The speed limit on the Interstate is already reduced to 45 mph because of last night's storm. Drivers are cautioned to plan for this additional delay and be prepared to slow down.
