If The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1 left you wanting more, the wait for the final installment in the Hunger Games series is almost over. You still have a few more months left to go, but today we have the first official trailer for Mockingjay - Part 2 and it’s everything you wanted and needed.

While there was an earlier trailer for the film (in theaters with Insurgent), it featured no footage from the film and was mostly filled with the Mockingjay logo and voiceover from the previous installments. This new Mockingjay trailer though, it action-packed, dramatic, exciting and features a lot of highlights (including our first look at Gwendoline Christie as Commander Lyme) from the upcoming finale. As Boggs (Mahershala Ali) says, “One way or another, this war is going to come to an end.” Fittingly, the trailer ends with a wave of the toxic black gel pouring towards our heroes as they scramble to escape while we hear Finnick say his iconic line to Katniss, “Welcome to the 76th Hunger Games” (not a formal part of the Hunger Games, but the nickname given to one of their final missions in The Capitol trying to survive the pods and death traps).

Mockingjay — Part 2 might be the end of the Katniss adventures in the Hunger Games universe, don't expect it to be the end of the franchise. Earlier this year, Lionsgate confirmed they're developing both prequel and sequel possibilities for future Hunger Games movies. They're not joking when they say the fire will burn forever.

With the nation of Panem in a full scale war, Katniss confronts President Snow [Donald Sutherland] in the final showdown. Teamed with a group of her closest friends – including Gale [Liam Hemsworth], Finnick [Sam Claflin] and Peeta [Josh Hutcherson] – Katniss goes off on a mission with the unit from District 13 as they risk their lives to liberate the citizens of Panem, and stage an assassination attempt on President Snow who has become increasingly obsessed with destroying her. The mortal traps, enemies, and moral choices that await Katniss will challenge her more than any arena she faced in The Hunger Games.

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 2 opens in theaters on November 20.
