Fewer shows, but more money.

With another season of outdoor concerts in books, the numbers are coming in. In 2014 the venue hosted 15 concerts. In 2015 it was down to 11. That doesn't mean fewer concert goers though! The 2015 music series sold 81,594 tickets, up 4,597 from last year.

Lets do the math. The city of Bangor gets $1.25 from every ticket sold. That's just over $101,992! That number also doesn't account for reimbursements to the city for police and fire protection at the shows.

Last year the city received $96,246 from concert tickets.
