It's not hard to find if you know where to look!

Sitting abandoned and rusted beyond repair is this ship in Penobscot. Between the land of boats Brooklin and maritime town Castine you will find Morse Cove Marine.

We don't encourage trespassing and much of the marine is private, but the boat is easily seen from the parking area before the dock. The dock out to the boat is private and monitored so it is best to look from a distance.

At low tide you are given the opportunity to walk into the muddy shore and snap a photo like above, but please remain respectful of the marina's property and signs.

Very little information could be found about why this ship has become shipwrecked here, or to whom the boat belongs. But we think it is interesting, and something to see when visiting this area of the state.
