Every week we feature a new hometown and share photos and facts using hashtags on social media. This week our #hashtag hometown is Lincoln!

Named after Maine's 6th governor, this town was developed around a water powered saw mill. The town sits on 19 miles along the Penobscot river, holds 13 different lakes and ponds and is a popular place for recreation.

This town has many celebrations, town clubs and charities and an overall close-knit family feel. With a little over 5,000 locals the town has everything you could need from an airport and hospital to a huge loon statue!
