Fans of the Harvest Moon Deli in both Orono and Bangor will now have another location to choose from by (hopefully) this Friday!

The eatery that features tasty soups, salads, sandwiches and more will soon open it's third location in the Twin City Plaza in Brewer. In an article in the Bangor Daily News, owners Keith Manaker and Zack Richardson said that they wanted to grow their business, and that they "thought Brewer was a good community — a community we felt we would be well-received in."

The Deli takes its name from Harvest Moon, the Neil Young album and takes the classic rock theme one step further by naming all of it's sandwiches after popular artists.  There's the Jimi Hendrix garden burger, the Blondie oven roasted turkey sandwich, the Janis Joplin ham, swiss and  tomato sandwich, among others. The new Brewer location will offer the same popular menu as it's other locations, and will look pretty much the same with plenty of yellow, orange and brown colors throughout. Go HERE for a full menu.

The new Brewer location will be bigger that the other two with room for larger gatherings and a lounge.

One patron that the owners may never see within their restaurant is Paul McCartney. McCartney is a devoted vegetarian, and the Deli has a rare roast beef sandwich named after the popular musician and former Beatle, all in good fun though.
