One of Maine's favorite Halloween attractions is back for it's 16th year and wetter than ever, I mean, better! This year's theme is 'Water Over the Damned'.

This year will feature ship wrecks, seaweed, and whatever else washes up! Of course the Klowns will be back and a creepy indoor corn maze! Wait till you see what lurks in the coffins, corners, and under the bed!

This event takes place at Fort Knox in Prospect and is a major fundraiser for the Friends of Fort Knox helping the organization fulfill their mission to preserve the Historic site. Executive director Leon Seymour works hard year round to make this a fun and spooky experience for all.

There is no age limit, however Fright night is geared more towards young adults and adults as it is quite scary! You've been warned!

Fright at the Fort is October 17th, 23-24th and 30-31st from 5:30-9PM. Make sure to arrive no later than 8:30 as Fright night draws thousands of people every year and you want to make sure to get your chance to take the haunted walk!

Parking is limited so carpooling is recommended. This year you can get express tickets online. These tickets will send you to the front of the line. More details can be found on their Facebook page.

Stick around Bucksport after the first Fright night this Saturday for Fireworks in Penobscot Bay at 9:15PM!
