Free Tours This Weekend at Penobscot Theater Co.

Bangor Opera House on Main Street will be open for tours on Saturday as well as the off-site space they’re currently turning into a “theater factory” at the old fire station on Griffin Road.

The tours are free, but donations to the firehouse project are welcomed.

Tours run from noon to three Saturday, with tours of the opera house starting on the hour, and firehouse tours starting on the half hour. Sounds like a great chance to get a behind the scenes look at one of Bangor's most historic buildings.
