I had a great chat with Maureen and one of our listeners, Deborah this morning. HOLY GOOSEBUMPS!!!! Maureen was spot on when speaking with Deborah about her brother who passed away. Click the link below to listen to the audio.

Immediately after our on-air interview, Deborah wrote me an e-mail thanking me for the opportunity to connect with her brother. Her e-mail is below.

Sabrina,
Thank you so much for picking me to talk to Maureen this morning. I have been waiting so long to connect with my brother. He has been gone for 12 years. He was only 17 when he passed it was the hardest day of my life. I knew from the start that he didn’t mean for it to happen. I miss him so much. Two weeks after he passed I found out I was pregnant with my 3rd child. I named her after him. My brother meant the world to me. If you look on my Facebook page Deborah Wellman Ripley. You can see pictures of him. But anyways talking to him today was a big moment for me.  You see my mom has stage 4 kidney cancer. She was diagnosed 3 years ago this month. And  she has been doing pretty good until recently. Last Wednesday she was given the news that the cancer has spread to her liver and she was given only 6 to 9 months. That news hit me like a brick. My mom and I are more than mother and daughter we are best friends. Losing her will be like losing my world. I am hoping that my brother watches over her as he does me. I am in hopes that I can go to the meeting with Maureen on the 20th because I would really like to find out more.

Thank you so much to you and Z107.3,

Deb Ripley
