Things aren't always what they're cracked up to be, and in Fifth Harmony's new single, the ladies are not the angels they've be painted as. "Angel," released today (August 10), is the second single from the girls' upcoming self-titled album.

Their classic harmonies are layered over a production that leans further towards hip-hop than Fifth Harmony has been known to go before. It's a perfect pairing, though, as they take turns singing "Gotta keep it one hundred with ya / The original me wouldn't f--k with ya / And I was beginning to f--k with ya."

Being true to yourself — and not an idealized, "angelicized" version of yourself — is a perennially perfect theme for music, and the ladies pull it off with ease. Stream "Angel" below.
