Bangor, ME – The Rotary Club of Bangor is scheduled to present its 9th annual Music off Broadway production on Saturday, March 29 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, March 30 at 3:00 p.m. at Peakes Auditorium at Bangor High School. The theme of this year’s show is “Take Me Places and Imagine”.
With Roger George producing and Danny Williams and Justin Zang co-directing, a cast of over 30 talented community members will perform songs pulling from the theme of places, real and imagined. Songs to be performed include “Oklahoma”, “Africa”, “Somewhere Over the Rainbow”, New York, New York” and many, many more.
Proceeds from the 2014 show will go toward the club’s $100,000 pledge to Sarah’s House, the Cancer Hospitality House of Maine. Learn more about the project at www.sarahshouseofmaine.org.
“Music off Broadway is one of our most visible and successful fundraising efforts,” said, Jenifer Wilson, the club’s president. “Last year we pledged $100,000 toward Sarah’s House and we’re almost ¾ of the way there; with a successful Music Off Broadway show we can push our fundraising over the top and truly help this most worthwhile cause.”

They are also on sale at Rebecca’s Gift Shop and BookMarc’s in downtown Bangor and Patrick’s Hallmark at Broadway Shopping Center and Huckleberries Card and Gift at Brewer Shopping Center.
