Motor Booty Affair to benefit Reclain the Stage at OMS

There is a nice big stage in the Orono Middle School gym. Since the 80's it has been boarded up and used for storage. The Reclaim the Stage group wants to take down the wall, get a curtain (no one knows what happened to the old one) get some lights (we have had 18 donated by the Collins Center!) update the electrical and USE it, for whatever people in Orono want to use it for. The more $ we get, the more we will be able to make it better for performances, specifically acoustically.
Please pitch in! The first phase will be in the range of $25,000 to get the basics pulled together. (A curtain is EXPENSIVE) But this is a pretty doable project, and it can be something A LOT of people can enjoy.
