If you are looking to get a little camp life into your weekend, you can check out a fun event that the Bangor Y is putting on this weekend.

Saturday, June 9th from 9 AM - 1 PM, the Bangor Y will be hosting a Pancake Breakfast and Open House at their Wilderness Center at Camp Jordan.  They are inviting Alumni, Neighbors, and New & Returning Campers to check out the camp and meet their new Camp Director, Steve Heiny!

Pancakes will be served at the King Dining Hall from 9:00 - 11:00am.

Get a bite to eat, participate in a family fun scavenger hunt and check out the latest offerings of the camp.  Take a tour of their facilities, see what’s new, and hike the trails.

The event will also be a way to get to know about upcoming plans for Sleep Away Camp, Leader and Counselor Training and a Leader's School program.

The Bangor YMCA's YouTube page has a great description of the basics of the camp, if you don't know that much about it:

The Bangor YMCA Wilderness Center at Camp Jordan is a traditional resident camp located on 185 acres on the shores of Branch Lake. Our program is focused on the four values of honesty, caring, respect and responsibility delivered through fun and creative activities.
