Police identify three people who have been arrested in connection with a meth lab in Ellsworth. Drug agents spent the day at an apartment over Charlie's Pizza at the corner of Spruce and Hancock Streets.

Department of Public Safety spokesman Steve McCausland says Stanley Swallow, age 30 of Ellsworth, was arrested on a charge of violating his probation. Bridgett Spencer, age 30, and Jack Lint, age 35, both described as transients from the Bangor area, were each arrested on a charge of possession of a scheduled drug.

This brings to 14 the number of meth labs responded to this year in Maine, compared to a total of 20 last year. It's the second seizure this week, as MDEA also dismantled a meth lab in Newfield on Tuesday.
