Ed Sheeran Excites New Englanders, Confuses the Rest of the World in One Photo via Instagram

Ed Sheeran is coming back to New England this month. He'll play for thousands upon thousands of fans at Gillette Stadium September 25th. In celebration, he posted with photo.

It's obviously his multiply album touched up with a grassy texture, and logos for the Patriots and Revolution. The caption reads: '20 days til Gillette stadium...'

The facepalm moments are found among the thousands of comments. While a lot of fans commented about Tom Brady, wishing he'd come to [insert city no one has heard of], and 'SEE YOU THERE HAVE MY BABIES!' some Instagramers didn't understand the photo.

Scattered among the aforementioned comments were a few 'What?'s and users tagging friends for clarification.
