Police have released the name of a woman who was killed yesterday in Palmyra after losing control of her car. Three children were also injured in that crash.

WABI-TV reports that 29-year-old Aimee Lasco of Hartland crashed into a tree around 2 o'clock Sunday, with three children inside her car. She was pronounced dead at the scene. Police say her 4-year-old and 7-year-old children were in the car, along with a 5-year-old who was not hers. The kids are all recovering from non-life threatening injuries.

Police say the crash happened on a newly paved portion of Raymond Road. Distracted driving does not appear to have been a factor in the crash, however the official cause of the accident is still under investigation.
