Don’t Miss A Free BBQ & Movie At Riverfront Park In Old Town

You can’t beat dinner and a movie in the park…for free!

Although it doesn't feel like it with all the cloudy and rainy weather we have had the last few weeks, Summer is almost here. It officially arrives on June 21, and that means the time has come to get outdoors and enjoy it.

The City of Old Town is inviting the whole family to enjoy free BBQ, followed by a screening of the blockbuster hit “The Super Mario Bros Movie”, on Wednesday night, June 28th

The BBQ runs from 6 pm-8 pm, followed by a screening of the movie at 9 pm.

In addition to the food, there will also be free drinks & lawn games for everyone to enjoy.

They are also planning BBQ & Wednesday movie nights on July 26, and August 23. They are looking for your suggestions on which film to show on those dates.

Since it was released on April 5, "The Super Mario Bros. Movie", has quickly become a huge hit, grossing over $1.3 billion at the box office, so that makes it the perfect flick to take in with family and friends on a summer night.
