Everybody seems to hate their drivers license photos. Some try to make the best of it and smile for their photo, but thats now being discouraged in New Jersey. The NJDMV says they would rather not have residents smile because it could interfere with the states new facial recognition software. The software is intended to scan all license photos to confirm drivers identity, and be sure they only have one license or driving record. There is no law against smiling, and a casual smile is ok, just don't smile like you just won the lottery.
