Incredible community support is pouring in to help the 75 people who lost their home Monday.

Three homes in Lewiston were destroyed Monday in a massive fire. Thankfully no one was hurt or killed in the inferno. Now the residents of the buildings are trying to piece their lives together again.

Before the blaze was even put out, family members, friends and kind strangers where calling in donations and arranging donation drop sites for clothes, toys, food and other items.

The Red Cross is assisting the residents who are now homeless but more assistance is needed. They're looking for clothes, dishes, flatware, pots and pans and small appliances. They can be dropped off at the YMCA at 130 East Ave. in Lewiston.

Checks are also welcome. Make them payable to The American Red Cross and should be mailed to the Red Cross Office at 1180 Lisbon St. Lewiston, 04240.

Donations can also be made securely online at redcross.org/me.
