The verdict is in...but is it right?

A jury has ruled that Robin Thicke and Pharrell Williams must pay the family of the late Marvin Gaye $7.4 million dollars for copyright infringement.

The Gaye family claimed that "Blurred Lines" is a rip off of the 1977 hit, "Got To Give It Up" and since the 2013 hit has made about $16 million in profits, the jury figured they should pony up some bucks. An appeal will be filed.

Listen to this mashup of the two songs and decide for yourself.
