Cori’s Celebrity Doppelgangers

"Hey, has anyone ever told you that you look like so-and-so?" Ever get that? You're walking along, minding your own business, and some random person will stop you to tell you that they look like someone they know, or even more fun, someone everyone knows! A couple of years ago, I got stopped 3 times in one day, first coming off a plane in Charleston, South Carolina to visit my uncle in the hospital. Then, one of the doc's working on my uncle came into his hospital room and mentioned it. And then someone at the pharmacy made a comment about it, too. "Hey, has anyone ever told you you look like Katy Perry?"

Up until that point, I hadn't. And lets be honest, she's a super-hot mega star and I'm a mom from Maine. Not typically someone I'd relate to, let alone think I'd resemble in any way. But, when comparing pictures, I guess our coloring is the same?!

Then there was the time a Facebook friend's daughter stole her mom's Ipad and sent me a message asking if I was, in fact, Katy Perry. She was sure it was her, based on my profile picture. Not my favorite thing to disappoint a kid, but it kind of made me laugh!

There was also a period of time where I decided to sport some bangs. That's when the Zooey Deschanel comparisons started up. I guess we have a similar voice and mannerisms. I never watched The New Girl, but its on my list of shows to check out when I get a minute.

The only other celebrity doppelgangers I've been associated with are Betty Rubble from the Flintsones, Betty Boop, and Linda Blair from The Exorcist. (Still trying to figure that one out!?)
