Throwing color at Color Bangor today was the best time I've had in months. Visitors to Team Yellow's station did everything from running away from us to dropping into the yellow powder and rolling joyfully!

I wasn't sure what to expect when I agree to be a Color Station Leader. And when I found out my entire team was from Emera Maine, I wondered how I'd fit in with a group of strangers. But we had a blast!

Once the race was done and the powder picked up, I headed to Color Village. It was everything I expected it would be! Check out the video for a good example of the free-wheeling glee that vibrated through this crowd! Everyone in that crowd was five years old, if only for a short time.

At the end of the video, you'll see the result of the 'Celebrity Pelt. I stood shoulder to shoulder with local radio and television personalities, along with several members of the Bangor Police Department as volunteers loaded us with as much color as possible. By the time it was done, I was caked in the stuff!

Blew my nose a few minutes ago. It came out purple!
