The Richards family from Austraila now has bragging rights for the Guineness world record books.

502,165 Christmas lights have been strung on the family's home in Canberra, Austrailia. It took 31 miles of wire to get the job done and now the home will be open to the public to view this weekend, to raise money for charity.

The famliy bought the lights themselves, but a local power company donated the $2,300 on electricity to light it for the next month.
