Christina Aguilera took her powerhouse pipes to 'The Ellen Show,' where she performed her heartbroken country-tinged ballad 'Just a Fool' with her fellow 'The Voice' coach Blake Shelton.

Xtina lacked her now-standard colorful extensions, opting instead for pin straight platinum blond locks and bangs, red lipstick and understated eye makeup. (Is she mastering the makeup balance?!) Perhaps taking a page from fellow Shelton pal Kelly Clarkson's book, Aguilera showed what her voice can do in her duet with the Nashville star. If the pop charts remain unkind to Aguilera, she may well have a future in country.

The friendly camaraderie between Aguilera and Shelton is palpable. Though the song they're singing is sad, they smiled through it at one another. "Thank you Blake!" she says sweetly, hugging him at the song's end. Too. Cute.

Aguilera also sat down for a chat with the ever-likable hostess with the mostess. When asked why she was nude on the cover of 'Lotus,' Aguilera giggled, "I like to be free. Sometimes, the less clothing, the better! I'm just comfortable in my skin and my body." She pointed to her outfit and added, "Had I had this beautiful sweater ... I would have worn that on the cover of 'Lotus.'"
