Host LL Cool J was imploring viewers to tweet about the 2013 Grammys on Sunday night (Feb. 10) while on some exotic island with a poor quality web connection, Justin Bieber was rubbing his hands together and staging a takeover. It was a David vs. Goliath social media battle, with The Biebs emerging as the clear victor, since he had exponentially more people tweeting about him.
There's something special about Florida. Not the Keys or the Everglades. Really it's the propensity for weird news that gets us. Strange things are always happening down there. If you're familiar with the bizarre state, @_FloridaMan on Twitter will delight you.
It’s always fun to see celebrities behaving like us regular folks and award nights like the 2013 Grammys seem to be a great time for that.
Sure, some of them are dressed in clothes we’ll never even get near and they rub elbows with people who seem to live on a different planet from us, but then there are the ones who act as excited as we would to be around other celebrities. Or, they sit at home and snark on the stars just like we do.

And we pity the fool who isn't following him.
It's our favorite time! Specifically, "Amanda Bynes is a crazy person who doesn't understand how the internet works" time.
Yesterday (Feb. 6), the retired millionaire posted a very strange tweet with merely the words “Ugly face” and a photo of Jay-Z, which was sent directly to the rapper via his own Twitter account since he was tagged in the message.
Yesterday we learned that more and more people are taking long breaks from Facebook. If they're not getting paid for these social network hiatuses they may be doing it wrong.
Today would have been Bob Marley's 68th birthday. The legendary musician and activist still has quite a following, despite passing away almost 22 years ago. One of the big differences between then and now is that now most people feel the best way to express their appreciation is to smoke a bunch of weed and then write about it on Twitter
UPDATED: According to Brown's reps, this whole thing was the work of a hoaxster. One of his mouthpieces told Gossip Cop, “It’s fake. He currently doesn’t have an Instagram.” Which could be an attempt at damage control, or it could be the truth. You decide.

Chris Brown recently took to his Instagram account, which he made private after a fight with singer Frank Ocean, to complain about how hard it is to be Chris Brown.
Cue Team Breezy telling him everything is going to be okay and everyone else is just a big fat meanie.
