A Caribou woman faces charges of theft, possession of schedule W drug and possession of drug paraphernalia.

At approximately 10:21 a.m., Saturday, Caribou Police Department received a call from Rite Aid alleging that they just had a female steal from the store and run out the door with some items, said police.

Officer Douglas Bell arrived in the area of the store to search for the female. Police said, Trishia Willette, 25-years-old from Caribou, was found hiding with an item from the store in her possession along with drug paraphernalia-items commonly used to use and package heroin and other drugs.

She was charged with Class C felony THEFT, POSSESSION OF SCHEDULE W DRUG and POSSESSION OF DRUG PARAPHERNALIA.

Willette was unable to make her bail which was set at $2,500 cash or $25,000 surety and was transported to the Aroostook County Jail in Houlton where she will await her June 9, 2016 arraignment.

Trooper Andrew Levesque of the Maine State Police assisted with this arrest.
