Three teens from Washburn face drug trafficking charges after a bust in Caribou Sunday evening.

The Caribou Police Department says they received information that people were gathered in a local business’ parking lot smoking marijuana.

Officer Douglas Bell responded and located several people standing in the parking lot and a strong odor of marijuana. After a search of two vehicles, Officer Bell seized 80 grams of marijuana with a street value of $800, pipes, scales, grinders, other paraphernalia and cash, according to a press release on Wednesday afternoon.

Three juveniles, all from Washburn, were charged with trafficking in marijuana, possession of useable amount of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Also, 25-year-old Timothy Fogg of Dover Foxcroft was charged with possession of a usable amount of marijuana.

All information was forwarded to the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency.
