Car Collides With Logging Truck In Enfield

A driver is in the hospital after an accident involving a car and a parked logging truck.

According to WABI-TV, Route 2 was closed for a time this morning after the accident that happened in the area of 1371 Main Road in Enfield. The tractor trailer was pulling into the roadway when its hitch came undone. The driver stopped to fix it, with the rig partially blocking the road.

A car collided with the parked truck when the driver was unable to stop in time. Police haven't released the name of the car's driver but say the person was taken to Eastern Maine Medical Center with injuries that were not considered life-threatening.
