A Candle Light Vigil will be held this Sunday for Hilary Saenz, the Ellsworth woman who lost her life to domestic violence on Christmas Day.  The Vigil will take place at 4:30pm this Sunday at Ellsworth City Hall.  A Facebook page has been set up for the event.

Ms. Saenz, 29,  was an employee at the Ellsworth Wal-Mart as well as Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor where she was a nurse's tech.  She had worked hard to put herself through classes to gain a job in the medical field.

Hilary Saenz leaves behind two children, 12 year old Alyana and 8 year old Christopher.  Three different accounts have been set up for the children at various banks in the area.  They are:

Camden National Bank, 66 Main St., Suite 101, Ellsworth, ME 04605. The account name is “Children of Hilary Saenz.”

TD Bank, any branch.  The account name is “Help the Saenz Kids.

Five County Credit Union, P.O. Box 598, Bath, ME 04530, “In Memory of Hilary Saenz (Brown).”  Hillary grew up in southern Maine.

A "Celebration of Life" will be held in Lewiston this Friday at 2pm, at Pathway Vineyard Church.

Her husband, Christopher Saenz, 30, has been charged with her murder. He had a history of abusing Hilary.
