It's official! Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 will be getting its first round of downloadable content with the Revolution Map Pack.

Do you want a revolution?! You will after you watch the trailer for this DLC. Revolution comes with four new multiplayer maps called Hydro, Mirage, Downhill, and Grind.

Hydro takes place at a dam, which actually floods over from time to time, cleansing the map of noobs. Mirage is in China's Gobi Desert, where players will attempt to frag each other in a sand-swept resort. Downhill is a snow level at a ski resort, complete with functional gondolas that are ready to provide roving cover or to bonk the heads of unlucky players. And grind is a skate park in California, which challenges everyone to play in an environment full of curves, instead of the hard, cover-providing corners to which they've grown accustomed.

Die Rise is the fifth map and it just might be the most interesting. As you might be able to tell from the name, it's a map for Zombies mode. It lets you play in a huge tower and gives the game verticality for the first time. And perhaps the coolest addition is a new Zombies game called Turned, in which one player is human and the others are zombies trying to bring him into the fold. There's also a pretty sweet gun, the first-ever DLC weapon, called the Peacekeeper. You can probably use that to remain human while you shoot down your undead friends.

The DLC is set to drop on January 29th, 2013, but only for the Xbox 360. Other platforms will have their chance to join in on the multiplayer mayhem, but no release dates have been set yet.
